Caramelized Cipollini Onions

Ingredients

Makes 4 Servings

  • 12 cipollini onions, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon or less extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Directions

Bring
a shallow stainless steel pan to medium-low heat.

Add
oil and swirl, add whole onions and reduce heat to low.

Let
cook, turning occasionally for about 30-45 minutes, add salt about halfway
through.

Onions
should be caramelized and golden in color.
