Yoga Anywhere Session
Friday, Feb. 16 | 6-7 p.m. | UVA Aquatic and Fitness Center
Grab a friend and join us for a low-impact workout featuring yoga and mindfulness exercises you can do at work, home or just about anywhere. Physician and director of the Adult Medical Yoga Clinic at Pantops, Denise Annie Way, MD, will demonstrate a variety of chair and standing poses that you can easily incorporate into your daily routine, whether you’re a yoga newbie or a pro. Happy Cook Cooking Demonstration

The Happy Cook, Charlottesville
Chef Ingrid Berger of The Happy Cook and UVA Club Red clinical ambassador Katherine Basbaum, RD, will teach you how to choose the right foods to fuel your active body and make two yummy, energy-boosting dishes:
- Tangy Cabbage-Carrot Slaw with Lemon, Sesame, Tofu, Edamame & Cilantro
- Roasted Sweet Potato with Brown Rice-Quinoa Pilaf, Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Lime
